FAQ
Do you do other types of photography, like weddings or headshots?
Yes — beyond corporate and event coverage, I also shoot weddings, headshots, birthdays, family, pets, cosplay, and more. Pricing varies by scope, so reach out and I'll put together a quote.
How many photos will I actually get?
It depends on the event and how much ground there is to cover, but a good general range is 10–20 fully edited photos per hour of shooting. For an 8-hour event, that's typically 80–160 images; for a full 14-hour day, more like 140–280. I'd rather hand you a tighter set of genuinely strong shots than pad the count with near-duplicates — quality and variety over sheer volume.
When do I get my photos?
Turnaround depends on your package:
• Full Day: Full gallery within 5 business days.
• Full Day + Real-Time / Extended Day: Up to 5 quickly-edited hero shots per hour, uploaded straight to your gallery during the event — so you're already sharing before the event even wraps. These are fast, on-site edits made for immediate posting; the full, fully-polished gallery follows within 5 business days.
• Multi-Day: A daily preview gallery within 24 hours of each shooting day, plus the complete curated gallery within 5 business days of the final day.
• Concert Coverage: 5 edited highlight shots within about an hour of the final song, full gallery within 3 business days.
• Venue Night / Venue Partner: 5 edited highlight shots within about an hour of your event wrapping, full gallery within 1–2 business days.
How does the real-time hero shot delivery actually work?
A few times an hour, I step aside for a few minutes — hand-select the strongest shots from that stretch of the event, edit them on the spot, and upload them straight to your gallery. Most rounds are live within 30 minutes of the moment happening, so you (or your team) can be sharing photos while the event is still going. Then I'm right back to shooting. It's a tight, practiced workflow — shoot, edit, publish, repeat — built specifically so you get real-time content without losing coverage anywhere else in the room.
Could you miss something while stepping away to edit?
It's possible — for those few minutes I'm reviewing and uploading instead of shooting, which is what makes real-time delivery possible in the first place. I keep these breaks short and intentional, and this is exactly why I work with you ahead of time to build a shot list and walk through your event's key moments — a keynote, an award, a big reveal — so we're on the same page before the day starts and I can time my editing breaks around them, not through them.
Do you deliver RAW files?
No. I deliver professionally edited, high-resolution JPEGs (and/or TIFFs on request) ready for printing, web, or social media. Curating and editing everything myself is what separates professional coverage from a raw dump of files
Can I use the photos for marketing and social media?
For corporate event, concert, and venue packages — yes. All of these include full commercial usage rights for your event marketing, internal communications, and social media. Where it's feasible (think newsletters, press write-ups, printed materials, social media posts), I ask for a photo credit; that's obviously not practical for something like a billboard or large-format signage, so we'll figure out what's reasonable case by case.
If you're booking outside the corporate/event space (personal portraits, cosplay sessions, etc.), commercial/marketing usage isn't automatically included — reach out if you'd like that added, since it may affect pricing.
What about prints and products?
Yes — beyond digital files, your gallery includes a built-in print store with prints, canvas, metal/wood/acrylic wall art, framed options, and photo books/albums, starting around $4 for a basic print. Full pricing and options are available directly in your gallery once it's delivered.
What if we run over the scheduled hours?
Let us know as soon as you realize you need extra time. Overage hours are $200/hour flat, per package terms. We always prioritize capturing your full event and will work with you.
Do you have a cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Booking: A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date; the remaining balance is due by the event day.
Cancellations: The 50% deposit is non-refundable, regardless of when you cancel — it reserves your date on my calendar and turns away other bookings for that day. Any amount paid beyond the deposit is fully refundable.
Rescheduling: If you need to move your date, let me know as early as possible. One reschedule is included at no charge if requested at least 14 days before your event, and your deposit carries over to the new date (within 6 months). Requests made less than 14 days out are handled case-by-case and may be treated as a cancellation if I'm unable to hold your original date for the new one.
Weather: For outdoor sessions (family portraits, cosplay, and similar outdoor work), unsafe or unworkable weather doesn't count against you — we'll simply find the next available date at no charge, regardless of how much notice we have.
Can you handle last-minute bookings?
Possibly. If I'm available, I'll do my best to accommodate. Contact us to check availability.
What's your process for choosing which photos to include?
I'm looking for two things: genuine emotion and storytelling — real reactions, real engagement, moments that actually convey what your event was like — and technical quality (sharpness, exposure, composition). I also make a point of covering a good variety of scenarios and moments, not just the obvious ones, so you've got options if you need something specific for marketing later — a wide crowd shot, a close-up reaction, a speaker moment, a candid interaction. Every photo in your gallery is one I'd be proud to show in my own portfolio.
What if I don't like the photos?
This is rare — largely because we've already talked through your goals and shot list before the event, so I know what you're looking for going in. But if something in your gallery isn't quite hitting the mark, let's talk about it. I'll work with you on revisions or additional edits to get the look and feel you're after. Requests that go beyond touch-ups — a full stylistic re-edit or a reshoot, for example — would be scoped as a separate project.
